Have A Safe and Happy Halloween!

Fall is a fun time for everyone – costume parties, trick-or-treating, and fall harvests. However, as the CDC says, you can never be too careful! There are ways to ensure that you can stay safe and healthy this Halloween and fall season as the weather gets cooler.

Make sure to get your vaccinations. As we've mentioned before, flu season has begun and it's predicted to be one of the worst this year. Getting your flu shot can help protect you from the flu, and prevent you from spreading flu germs to your friends and family this holiday season.

Don't forget the hand sanitizer! For many, fall is a time for family gatherings and fun times with friends. Keeping your hands clean is a great way to help protect yourself from getting sick. Stay germ free this fall as you interact with new and old friends by storing a bottle of your favorite hand sanitizer by your side.

Be prepared for cold weather. Costume parties are fun, but not if you're freezing! If you live in a cooler climate like we do – where there is always a chance of snow in October – a warmer costume can help keep you from catching a cold and staying healthy. We even have thermometers in costume for your little one. Help make taking your little ghost or goblin's temperature fun with Zoo Temps pediatric thermometers!

Prevent injuries in and around your home. As it starts to get darker sooner and the snow starts to fall, you might want to consider making the spaces in and around your home safer for yourself, your family, and you holiday guests. There are many fall prevention products available to you such as bed rails, car accessories and even bathroom safety products – utilize them today!
