1. BD U-40 Veterinary Insulin Syringe

Unfortunately, Diabetes in pets is a very common problem in nearly all Veterinary Clinics. Like humans, pet owners often have to check their pet's blood sugar, test their blood glucose level, and administer insulin to their beloved furry friends. With our BD U-40 Veterinary Insulin Syringes, it makes the entire administration process more comfortable for pets, which may protect them from squirming and sustaining injuries during the injection process. 

The BD U-40 Veterinary Insulin Syringes feature a 29 gauge x 1/2" needle that is electro-polished to ensure a smooth delivery. The syringes are also micro-bonded lubricated, which minimizes friction, and they contain a fine point tip that makes insertion easier. 2. Vitamin B12 Injection - Cyanocobalamin 1,000MCG Multiple Dose Vial 30mL

Just as humans sometimes need Vitamin B12, animals are the same way. Vitamin B12 is essential to growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and nucleoprotein. It helps the body use fat and carbohydrates for energy, and to make new protein. Vitamin B12 is also important for normal blood, cells, and nerves. This injection also contains 1,000mg of Cyanocobalamin, sodium chloride, benzyl alcohol, hydrochloric acid, and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH. Cyanocobalamin is used to treat Vitamin B12 deficiency in people or animals with pernicious anemia, and other conditions. It is a man made form of Vitamin B12 that is used to treat the low levels of this vitamin.

If a person or animal is deficient in Vitamin B12, they may have the following conditions: Addisonian Anemia, Gastrointestinal Dysfunction, Pathology, or Surgery, Gluten Enteropathy, Small Bowel Bacteria Overgrowth, a Fish or Tapeworm Infestation, a Folic Acid Deficiency, or a malignant pancreas or bowel. It is in these cases in which cyanocobalamin is then used. 

3. Rabies Vaccination

The Rabavert Rabies Vaccine Kit is a rabies vaccination for humans and pets that is administered as soon as possible after exposure to prevent the rabies virus. Rabies is a virus that can be passed to humans through the bite of a rabid animal. In the United States, wild animals, such as bats or raccoons, are most likely to carry and spread rabies. However; it is also possible to get rabies if your domesticated pet - such as a dog or cat - has not been vaccinated against the disease. While Rabies does not spread from person to person, it is an extremely serious disease that can be potentially fatal to humans and animals.

Rabavert Rabies Vaccine Kit Is a sterile, freeze-dried vaccine obtained by growing the fixed-virus strain Flurry LEP in primary cultures of chicken fibroblasts. The virus is inactivated with β-propiolactone, and further processed by zonal centrifugation in a sucrose density-gradient. The vaccine is lyophilized after addition of a stabilizer solution which consists of buffered polygeline and potassium glutamate. One dose of reconstituted vaccine contains less than 12 mg polygeline (processed bovine gelatin), less than 0.3 mg human serum albumin, 1 mg potassium glutamate and 0.3 mg sodium EDTA.

The vaccine contains no preservative and should be used immediately after reconstitution with the supplied Sterile Diluent for Rabavert (Water For Injection). The potency of the final product is determined by the NIH mouse potency test using the US reference standard. The potency of one dose (1.0 mL) Rabavert is at least 2.5 IU of rabies antigen. Rabavert is a white, freeze-dried vaccine for reconstitution with the diluent prior to use; the reconstituted vaccine is a clear to slightly opaque, colorless suspension.
