Glucagon injections

Glucagon injections are used to treat severe hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) in individuals with diabetes. Glucagon injection works by increasing the levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood. This can help prevent serious complications of low blood sugar, such as seizures, loss of consciousness, and coma. Glucagon injections may also be used in certain situations to diagnose and treat low blood sugar in people who are unable to consume food or take sugar by mouth.
