Sodium Chloride 0.9% IV Solution is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, isotonic solution for intravenous administration. Each milliliter (mL) of solution contains 9 mg of sodium chloride and 0.9% (9 mg/dL) of water. The solution is intended for dilution with other intravenous solutions before administration. The pH is 5.5 (4.5 to 7.0).
