Instructions for Use:

1. ♦Before this unit is used for the first time, open the battery cover on the bottom of the unit and remove the protection shield under the cover. (The unit won’t receive power from the batteries until this shield is removed.)

For Weight Measurements:

1. ♦Press the On/Set button to turn the unit on
2. ♦Using the ▲ and ▼ buttons, select the unit of measurement desired (KG or LBS or ST or ml or .oz)
3. ♦Once a zero is displayed on the screen, place the object to be weighed in the stainless steel bowl
4. ♦Within 90 seconds the weight of the object will be displayed on the screen

For Liquid Measurements:

1. ♦Press the On/Set button to turn the unit on
2. ♦Using the ▲ and ▼ buttons, select the unit of measurement desired (KG or LBS or ST or ml or .oz)
3. ♦Once a zero is displayed on the screen, place the stainless steel bowl on the scale base
4. ♦Use the tare function (by pressing the On/Set button) to zero out the scale
5. ♦Pour the liquids to be measured into the stainless steel bowl
6. ♦The determined weight will be displayed on the LCD screen

To Set the Timer:

1. ♦Press the On/Set button to turn the unit on
2. ♦Wait for a zero to be displayed on the LCD screen
3. ♦Press the MODE button
4. ♦Enter the desired amount of time by using the ▲ and ▼ buttons
5. ♦Press the ON/SET button to start the timer
6. ♦Press the MODE button to stop the timer
