How to Order:
Saxenda (Liraglutide) Injection is a medication used for weight management in adults who have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater, or in adults with a BMI of 27 or greater who have other weight-related health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol. It is an injectable form of the medication liraglutide, which is also used to treat type 2 diabetes. Saxenda works by mimicking the effects of a hormone in the body called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), which helps to decrease appetite and increase feelings of fullness, leading to weight loss. It is meant to be used in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Saxenda is only available with a prescription and is self-administered by injection under the skin in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.

It should be used in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for best results. Consult with a healthcare provider to determine if Saxenda is right for you.
How to use Saxenda (Liraglutide) Injection?
Before using Saxenda, make sure to read the medication guide provided by your doctor or pharmacist and follow all the instructions carefully. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Saxenda is a prescription medication that is usually given once daily by injection under the skin (subcutaneous). Here are the steps to properly use Saxenda:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
2. Choose an injection site on your abdomen (stomach), thigh, or upper arm. It is important to use a different injection site each time to avoid irritation and hardening of the skin.
3. Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and let it dry.
4. Remove the cap from the Saxenda pen.
5. Hold the pen at a 90-degree angle to the skin and pinch a fold of skin at the injection site.
6. Insert the needle into the skin fold at the selected injection site. Press the injection button all the way down until the entire dose has been delivered. The needle will automatically retract after the injection is completed.
7. Do not rub the injection site after administering the injection.
8. Replace the cap on the pen and dispose of the used needle properly.
9. Do not mix Saxenda with any other medications in the same syringe.
10. Do not inject Saxenda into a vein or muscle.
11. It is important to take Saxenda at the same time each day, preferably at a time that is convenient for you.
12. Do not change the dose or stop using Saxenda without consulting your doctor first.
13. Store Saxenda in the refrigerator, protected from light. Do not freeze the medication. If you are using a pen that is currently in use, you can keep it at room temperature (between 59-86 degrees F or 15-30 degrees C) for up to 30 days.
14. It is important to keep track of your injections to make sure you are using Saxenda correctly and to make sure you have enough medication for the next dose.
Always dispose of used needles and pens properly to avoid accidental needle sticks. Your doctor or pharmacist can provide you with a sharps container for safe disposal.
If you miss a dose of Saxenda, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take two doses at the same time. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule.
It may take several weeks to see the full effects of Liraglutide. It is important to continue using Saxenda as directed by your doctor, even if you do not see immediate results.
If you have any further questions or concerns about using Saxenda, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
