Complete waste of time cheap junk

I was happily using nice sturdy McKesson Fabric Spot 25mm Adhesive Bandages for the last year to seal a 3mm diameter air pressure relief hole in Mason jar lids atop sterilized Mason/Ball jars containing a nutrition agar used to feed botanical specimens inserted while inside a sterile laminar flow transfer laboratory hood. This Dynarex "spot" turned out to be a flimsy cheap 22mm latex piece of junk which then drastically shrunk under autoclaving and curled up proving to be useless. It is my opinion this bandage spot had only half the "sticking power" of the McKesson spots I have used. In the last 25 years I have used every spot type bandage you can imagine from Band-Aid to NexCare to Walgreens to CVS in-house brands to McKesson spots... they have all held up to the autoclaving process in some decent measure, but this junk from Dynarex was terrible. I ordered 1,000 spots, I used ten spots in my test and threw the other 990 spots in the trash. I will never buy anything from them again. And please don't lecture me on the fact these Dynarex bandages aren't designed for autoclaving... I wouldn't use them to protect a pimple on my posterior.
